    Exciting Opportunity: Service Design and Transition Manager (Contract)

    Are you an experienced Service Design and Transition Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team on a contractual basis for a period of 12 months.

    The Role

    As the Service Design and Transition Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of services to our client’s customers. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and transitioning services from development to operational teams. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth transitions and exceptional service delivery in line with customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient service solutions
    Drive the transition of services from development to operational teams, ensuring minimal disruption
    Develop and maintain service transition plans, including timelines and resource allocation
    Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring effective contingency plans are in place
    Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies
    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure a seamless transition process
    Provide guidance and support to the service delivery team, ensuring high-quality customer service
    Stay updated on industry best practises and trends to drive continuous improvement

    Requirements

    Proven experience in service design and transition within the financial services field
    Strong knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL
    Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

    What’s on Offer

    Competitive daily rate ranging from £600 to £650 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
